Vestas is awarded a wind farm for ten 62 MW wind turbines in Germany

Vestas has received a firm order from Bürgerwind Beuchte, part of Ebert Erneuerbare Energien Unternehmensgruppe, for the Beuchte wind farm in Lower Saxony, Germany.

The order consists of ten V162-6.2 MW wind turbines and includes the supply, delivery and commissioning of the wind turbines. Upon completion, Vestas will service the turbines under a 25-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement designed to ensure optimized performance of the assets.

The project site is located in Lower Saxony, northeast of Goslar. Delivery of the turbine will begin in the second quarter of 2024 and commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of 2024.
