Enel’s Lindahl wind farm kicks off in North Dakota

Enel Green Power North America has started commercial operations at the 150MW Lindahl wind farm in North Dakota.

The $220m project is owned by EGPNA Renewable Energy Partners, a joint venture between Enel Green Power North America and GE Energy Financial Services.

Electricity and related renewable credits from the wind farm are being sold under a long-term power purchase agreement to the Basin Electric Power Cooperative.

Enel Green Power North America head Rafael Gonzalez said: “We are proud to be a part of growing North Dakota’s energy economy and look forward to contributing our expertise and clean energy to the sustainable development of the local community.”
