Offshore Wind Consultants selected to support Iberdrola UK wind farms

UK-based Offshore Wind Consultants (OWC) has secured a new framework agreement from Spanish electric utility Iberdrola to deliver engineering and project management services for several windfarm projects in East Anglia, UK.

A part of Oslo-listed marine and engineering consultancy Aqualis, OWC will be responsible for providing engineering consultancy services for Iberdrola for projects including the East Anglia ONE, East Anglia ONE North, and East Anglia THREE offshore windfarms, as well as delivering project management services for East Anglia One.

OWC’s managing director Ian Bonnon said: “OWC is already providing geotechnical ancillary services on the East Anglia One project. We therefore have a solid understanding of the project.

“To be trusted with additional work is testament to the benefits of the excellent working relationship that the OWC team has built with this important client and we are looking forward to supporting Iberdrola on these future windfarm projects.”
