EDF Energies Nouvelles commissions the Joncels wind farm

EDF Energies Nouvelles announces the commissioning of the Joncels wind farm with 11.9 MW in installed capacity.
The group now operates 444.2 MW in wind energy capacity in the Languedoc-Roussillon-Midi-Pyrénées region, or close to 45% of local installations in this area of south-western France that boasts high-quality wind resources.

The wind farm is located near the town of Joncels, in the Hérault department.
It consists of 14 turbines, with 11.9 MW in total installed capacity.
Annual output from the facility is equivalent to the electricity consumption of around 13,500 inhabitants.
