This November will take place in Madrid the “I Spanish Solar Forum: Challenges of the PV Energy without Public Economic Support” organized by the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF).
The first edition of this Forum, seeks to provide a yearly meeting point and a place for debate for the Photovoltaic Solar Industry in Spain, which has led the market and the development of technology at an international level. The Forum intends to be a meeting point to address in depth the challenges for the solar photovoltaic industry and the opportunities and goals arising in the forthcoming months.
Among the guest speakers who will discuss the status and opportunities of photovoltaic energy in Spain, can be found outstanding representatives of national and international institutions (European Commission, Central Government and autonomous communities), Government and Institutions of those countries and regions with special interest (Development Banks, representatives of countries including Saudi Arabia, Mexico or United Kingdom), renowned jurists and lawyers such as Mr. José Antonio Martín Pallín, Prosecutor and emeritus judge of the Supreme Court, or experts from Holtrop and Osborne Clarke, prominent academic mentors as Ms. Natalia Fabra or Mr. Ignacio J. Pérez de Arriaga, financial institutions as Santander Bank, civil society representatives (user associations, trade unions…) and, last but not least, some of the most outstanding companies within the sector will, in a dynamic way with round tables, debate some relevant and up-to-date issues regarding the photovoltaic energy including What is the future for the Spanish Photovoltaic companies? Can the Photovoltaic Industry survive without incentives? Which is the future of Photovoltaic energy in smartcities?
