The decarbonization of the economy requires the determined support of projects of this type that also help to supply the energy demand that the state requires.

The complex, which will have an investment of 56 million dollars, will generate renewable energy for more than 20 thousand homes in the region, producing up to 30 megawatts through the installation of 15 wind turbines.

The company in charge of the execution, Elawan Energy, has as a priority the preservation of the environment, for which 40 hectares have been reforested in the area.

It also has a local employment program, which promotes the workforce for the inhabitants of neighboring communities.
