MHI Vestas Offshore Wind wind turbines for offshore wind farm in Germany

The firm and unconditional order is placed by Northland Power Inc. and is for the 252 MW Deutsche Bucht project.

DeBu is Northland’s third offshore wind project and is located 77 km from Northland’s other German offshore wind project, Nordsee One. With the order, MHI Vestas Offshore Wind has announced orders for more than 700 MW of V164-8.0 MW turbines in 2017, underlining the growing demand for the platform.
