Who are the next generation’s leaders?

Last Friday was Earth Day, and we reflected on how our industry is creating a cleaner future by reducing carbon and other pollutants, conserving water and maintaining a small environmental footprint.   However, to continue this positive trend well into the future, we need to cultivate the leaders of tomorrow.

That’s a big focus at this year’s AWEA WINDPOWER 2016 Conference & Exhibition.

We’re bringing back the Emerging Leaders Program to connect today’s up-and-comers with wind energy veterans. As the U.S. wind industry converges in New Orleans this May, it’s the perfect opportunity to mentor the next wave of professionals who are already displaying the leadership needed to help guide the future of wind energy.

It’s a great benefit to employers and employees alike, offering unique career path development by providing high-profile staff with access to the right contacts and mentors, which are always strong contributors to both career and company success.

This year’s emerging leaders come from a diverse background, hailing from Siemens, Blattner Energy, MAKE Consulting, Southern Power, Vestas, the British Consulate-General, Altenex, TPI Composites, Urbane Innovation LLC, the Timken Company, and the University of Denver.
