Geothermal Energy Association Summit

The Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) will bring together policy leaders, utilities and industry professionals for the GEA National Geothermal Summit to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the geothermal industry during the world’s current energy crisis, and to work to build a roadmap for the region’s future.

Engaging dialogue at this event will help build momentum for expanding geothermal power production in California, as well as Nevada and other neighboring states. Topics for the Summit include outlooks for California and neighboring states, utility experience and geothermal power, reducing the risk for geothermal drilling and exploration, streamlining projects and permits, and improving incentives for geothermal power.

On August 7, GEA Honors will recognize the leading companies and personalities in geothermal, specifically in Technological Advancement, Environmental Stewardship and Economic Development.
