TITAN delivers concentrating solar rower to be commissioned in South Africa

TITAN has successfully delivered 4 double axis solar trackers with parabolic dish concentrator for Stirling engines, for one of the first, commercial projects to be commissioned in South Africa this 2012. This project will be likely the most efficient around the world and therefore an international reference in the use of Stirling for solar applications.

The tracker delivered is the 125-228 STIRLING model, that is suitable to accommodate 2 units of Stirling engines with a total power of 60 KW.

Technical requirements for Stirling are extremely much more demanding than other solar applications. TITAN provides minimal deformations and continuous movement in azimuth, compatible with extremely high accuracy and reliability, two key issues for CSP technology.

TITAN TRACKER is a technology based firm specialized in the design, manufacturing and commercialization of dual-axis trackers for PV, Concentrating (CPV) and Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) tower and Stirling.
