System One Wind Celebrates 100th Wind Energy Project Milestone

The majority of initiatives have supported wind farm operations, maintenance and administration, with capabilities extending to site selection, construction and corporate operations. “System One has a strong stake in developing the wind energy workforce of the future”

Since establishing a dedicated wind energy division in 2008, System One has developed a comprehensive managed services approach that encompasses project management, recruiting, scheduling and training. In that timeframe, the division has grown by 60%, reflecting growing demand for turnkey managed services. Engagements have taken place in more than 20 states as well as internationally.

“System One has a strong stake in developing the wind energy workforce of the future,” said Gary Valentine, Executive Vice President, System One. “By combining a practiced deployment model with a national recruiting engine, System One delivers a flexible and cost-efficient operating model to wind energy clients across the U.S. and the world.”

To expand its outsourced offering, System One has recently begun providing insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) control assemblies in response to their client’s high rates of unit failure in turbines, notably from operating in high temperatures. Sites utilizing System One’s sourced IGBT components have been documented with reduced frequency and duration of downtime due to repairs and maintenance. System One also provides personal protective equipment (PPE) provisioning and OSHA training to promote compliance to the highest industry quality and safety standards.
