enXco Signs O&M Wind Power Agreement With Detroit Edison

enXco Service Corporation (eSC), an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company has signed a multi-year Operation and Maintenance Agreement with Detroit Edison to provide operations and maintenance services for the 102.4 megawatt Gratiot Wind Farm.

The Gratiot Wind Power Project located in Gratiot County, Michigan marks enXco Service Corporation’s entry into the growing wind energy industry in the state. Construction on the project, which consists of 64 General Electric (GE) 1.6 MW wind turbines, is nearing completion.

Under the terms of the O&M Agreement, eSC will provide complete O&M for the turbines and balance of plant, project oversight, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its NERC compliant Operations Control Center.
