EDF Energies Nouvelles Signs O&M Agreement for 60 MW Flat Water Wind Farm

The 60 megawatt wind power project, located in Richardson County, Nebraska, consists of 40 GE 1.5 MW wind turbines. Flat Water Wind Farm, LLC is owned by Gestamp Wind North America, a subsidiary of Gestamp Renewables (Gestamp Corporation).

enXco Service Corporation will provide commissioning assistance during construction, and will provide on-site O&M for the balance of plant during the wind turbine warranty period, and full O&M post-warranty. In addition to operation and maintenance services provided at the site, 24/7 remote monitoring of the wind turbines will be provided from enXco Service Corp’s Operations Control Center located near Chandler, Minnesota.

Construction of the wind farm project commenced in Spring 2010; commercial operations is expected in December 2010.
