Shear Wind signs agreement with Enercon

Under the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement, Enercon will supply, install, erect and commission Enercon E-82 2,300 kW wind turbines for Shear Wind’s 60 MW Glen Dhu wind power project in Nova Scotia in Antigonish and Pictou counties.

Shear Wind and Enercon concurrently entered into an agreement known as the EPK agreement pursuant to which Enercon will service and maintain the purchased wind turbines.

Leading wind turbine manufacturer Enercon is to set up a technical services operation in the Tralee Technology Park, generating 30 jobs over the next two years.
