Western Wind Energy Corp. – FAA approval on Steel Wind Farm

Western Wind Energy Corp ("Western Wind") is pleased to announce that Western Wind has received approval from the FAA for 15 wind turbines locations at 399 feet per turbine for our Steel Park Wind Energy – Solar Energy project near Kingman, Arizona.

Western Wind is in the process of finalizing a turbine supplier, Engineering Procurement Construction Contractor and Solar Panel provider. Western Wind will be utilizing very advanced Copper Indium Gallium Selenium (CIGS) solar technology that is both robust and cost effective.

Steel Park is a fully zoned and approved project by the Mohave County Government and is owned fee simple by Western Wind without debt. Power will be sold under a fully executed Power Purchase Agreement with Unisource Energy Services, a major Arizona regulated utility. We anticipate this to be the first of its kind, fully integrated wind power – solar project under one designated and specific contract.
