Nordex receives an order for 264 MW of wind power in Lithuania

UAB Renerga, the main developer of wind energy projects in Lithuania and a company of the Achema Group, contracted the Nordex Group for the supply of 40 N163/6.X wind turbines. The Delta4000 series wind turbines are designed for the 264 MW Pagegiai wind farm project in the west of the country. The contract also includes a Premium Service contract.

Infrastructure works will begin in June 2024, and delivery and installation of the turbines will begin in spring 2025. The Nordex Group will install the turbines on tubular steel towers: 29 with hub heights of 118 meters and 11 with heights of hub of 113 meters. The wind farm is expected to be completed in 2026.

Including this new order, to date the Nordex Group has sold more than 850 MW since 2015 in Lithuania. Of these, 460 MW are currently under construction.
