Vestas wins order for 63 MW of wind power in Italy | REVE News of the wind sector in Spain and in the world

Vestas has received an order for 63 MW for a wind farm in Italy. The contract includes the supply and installation of 14 V150-4.5 MW wind turbines, as well as a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service contract.

“This order demonstrates the suitability of our latest models for the Italian market. We hope that Vestas’ 4 MW platform will continue to make a strong contribution to Italy’s energy transition in the coming years,” says Francesco Amati, CEO of Vestas Italia.

The delivery of the turbine is scheduled for the first half of 2025, while its commissioning is scheduled for the second half of the same year.

The order also reinforces Vestas’ leadership in the country’s wind energy sector, where it has installed more than 5.2 GW since 1991.
