China Ming Yang Wind Power is A Leading Wind Turbine Supplier in China in 2014

China Ming Yang Wind Power (NYSE: MY) (“Ming Yang” or the “Company”), today announced that according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), China’s wind installations reached 20.7GW in 2014 – four times more than the U.S.and40% of all new capacity worldwide, with 38% growth from 2013.

According to BNEF, most of the newly installed capacity in China in 2014 came from Chinese domestic wind turbine suppliers, while foreign manufacturers took less than 2% of the market. MingYang is one of the top five Chinese wind turbine manufacturers, which in aggregate have taken 60% of China’s total installed capacity, according to BNEF.

“Based on our current delivering schedule of our order backlog, we feel confident to maintain the market share in 2015”, said Mr. Chuanwei Zhang, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ming Yang, “Leveraging our unique advantages of offshore engineering solutions, we expect Ming Yang to acquire larger market share in the off-shore regime in 2015.”
