University and state work to make Delaware friendlier for electric vehicles

The university and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control are working together to build charging stations for electric vehicles across the state.

The university and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) have recently begun work on a project to create a new infrastructure of electric vehicle charging stations throughout the state. Electric vehicles are seen as the green alternative to gasoline-powered cars because they do not emit carbon dioxide or air pollution.
