Wind energy takes on The Economic Crisis

The rapid expansion of the European wind power industry could help tackle unemployment across the continent, with an annual shortfall of qualified personnel of 7,000 which could become 15,000 by 2030.

According to a report recently published by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA), the demand for qualified personnel in the European wind power industry amounts to about 7,000 workers per year and could go as high as 15,000 per year by 2030; numbers which show how rapidly the industry and markets are expanding.
