China to set up 50 MW wind energy project in Pakistan

A Chinese company will set up a 50-megawatt wind energy project at Gharo in Sindh.

 

Official sources said the project to be completed at a cost of 120 million dollars would start generating power by June 2015, Radio Pakistan reported on Sunday.
On completion, the project would not only help reduce power shortage, but also create job opportunities for the local people. The company was also planning to launch nine more similar projects.
