EDF Energies Nouvelles commissions a 24 MW wind farm in Cantal

Continuing its expansion in the French wind energy segment, EDF Energies Nouvelles is announcing the commissioning of a 24 MW wind farm at Allanche in the Cantal department.

This wind power facility, which features eight 3 MW wind turbines, was developed and built by EDF EN France. The wind farm will be operated and maintained by Vestas and by EDF EN Services.

The completion of this latest project by EDF Energies Nouvelles illustrates its ongoing development efforts in the French wind energy sector. To date, EDF Energies Nouvelles owns 440 MW in gross wind energy capacity in its home market.
