Located in the Somme department, the Magremont wind farm includes 6 Nordex N90 wind turbines, with a capacity of 2.5 MW each, for a cumulative capacity of 15 MW. Construction works started in September 2011 and the project was sold in December 2011 to the THEOLIA Utilities Investment Company investment vehicle, of which THEOLIA holds 40%.
Within the framework of the agreements between THEOLIA and its investment vehicle, THEOLIA built this wind farm and has been operating it since its commissioning.
In the meantime, THEOLIA built a 12.5 MW wind farm for a third party, also located in the Somme department, in the immediate vicinity of the Magremont wind farm. It includes 5 wind turbines, with a capacity of 2.5 MW each. THEOLIA is currently operating this wind farm for third parties.
The installed capacity operated by the Group therefore reaches 298 MW for own account and 632 MW for third parties, i.e. a total of 930 MW.
In France, THEOLIA currently operates 111 wind turbines for a cumulative installed capacity of 222 MW, of which 87 MW are for own account.
THEOLIA is an independent producer of wind energy, active over the entire wind value chain. The Group develops, builds and operates wind farms in four countries: France, Germany, Italy and Morocco. In total, the Group operates 930 MW for its own account and for third parties.
