Obama returns to Nevada for solar energy tour

He’s set to head to Copper Mountain Solar 1 in Boulder City to detail his energy policies. It’s the largest photovoltaic solar power plant in the nation with nearly one million solar panels powering 17,000 homes.

Obama is expected to leave Las Vegas a few hours later. It’s his second trip to southern Nevada in two months. With its divided electorate, Nevada is an important swing state in November. Obama also plans to defend his energy agenda this week in New Mexico and Oklahoma.
