Huge O&M Increase for North American Wind Power Industry

There have recently been significant shifts in the mindset of the wind industry. As fleets of wind turbines continue to reach the end of their warranty periods, assets owners turn their attention to methodologies for increased operational efficiency and cost reduction.

As a result for this shift in focus, this year’s 4th Annual Wind Energy Operations and Maintenance Summit has seen the list of sponsors and exhibitors almost triple in length as companies concentrate on O&M.

On April 25-27 in Dallas, huge Operators like NRG Energy and enXco, and global OEMs like Siemens and workshop hosts GE will join other sponsors and exhibitors from condition monitoring experts to ISPs and tooling companies. The stage is set for massive O&M growth.

The reason for all this activity and interest is clear. Over 50 of North America’s owner-operators and large OEMs are sending their key decision makers to the event as they make the first steps into a solid O&M strategy for 2012-13.

There are still a few opportunities left for service or equipment suppliers to position themselves as key leaders in the space at such a landmark event. More details on opportunities and delegates can be found at http://bit.ly/OM-Texas

Putting such a hard-hitting list of exhibitors and sponsors alongside an extensively researched, never-before seen targeted agenda has already attracted almost 250 senior level attendees, and the deals and partnerships are waiting to be formed.
