CODA Holdings Hosts 45 International Ambassadors

CODA Holdings, a leading developer of all-electric vehicles and advanced battery systems, hosted 45 foreign ambassadors at its global headquarters in Los Angeles, demonstrating the benefits of electric car and energy storage technology and highlighting the economic and technological advancements the company brings to the area.

During the Experience America trip to Los Angeles, ambassadors representing countries spanning five continents spent three days – from February 28 to March 2 – focused on the history, future, economy and people of Los Angeles. The ambassadors engaged with leaders from forward-thinking businesses like CODA and learned about the city’s innovative and entrepreneurial projects.

Led by CODA Holdings Vice President of Government Relations and External Communications Forrest Beanum, the United Sates Chief of Protocol Capricia Penavic Marshall and attending ambassadors toured the 100,000 square foot global headquarters, and battery R&D laboratory and experienced the all-electric sedan through the streets of Los Angeles.

Experience America is organized by the Diplomatic Partnerships Division of the Office of the Chief of Protocol whose mission is to foster international goodwill and cultivate the relationship between the Diplomatic Corps and the people and institutions of the United States through an exchange of ideas, cultures and traditions. This is the ninth Experience America trip. Previous destinations included other California locations, Texas, Florida, New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Alaska and New Orleans.
