During the Experience America trip to Los Angeles, ambassadors representing countries spanning five continents spent three days – from February 28 to March 2 – focused on the history, future, economy and people of Los Angeles. The ambassadors engaged with leaders from forward-thinking businesses like CODA and learned about the city’s innovative and entrepreneurial projects.
"We’re very excited to be a part of the Experience America tour of Los Angeles," said Phil Murtaugh, CEO, CODA Holdings. "At CODA, we believe our mission of reducing dependence on fossil fuels can be best accomplished through our worldwide relationships. By fostering existing international joint ventures and developing new partnerships, we can develop a global solution for a global problem."
Led by CODA Holdings Vice President of Government Relations and External Communications Forrest Beanum, the United Sates Chief of Protocol Capricia Penavic Marshall and attending ambassadors toured the 100,000 square foot global headquarters, and battery R&D laboratory and experienced the all-electric sedan through the streets of Los Angeles.
"International collaboration is one of the pillars that have shaped CODA’s strategy since its inception," said Beanum. "Through our innovative technology, strong partnerships and international government support, we strive to accelerate the adoption of zero emission transportation and clean energy storage solutions worldwide."
