New Winds Group and Montealto install a wind power plant in Palencia

Montealto and New Winds Group have signed an agreement to develop 50% of a wind farm in Palencia. The wind companies indicate that the total investment in the wind power project amounts to 12.7 million euros and, to finance, have achieved some of the funding through Bankia.

The wind farm will be located in Aguilar de Campo and generate enough electricity to power over 65,000 homes. Montealto already carrying out the execution of the work through a turnkey contract and is expected to become operational wind farm in July.

Montealto accumulated a total of 1,440 megawatts (MW) in 70 projects in wind power and solar energy in Spain, Italy, Peru, Colombia, Turkey, South Africa and India.

The family Reyzabal main activities are the leasing of offices, shops, parks and hotels as well as ownership and management of stocks and shares in various companies and sectors.
