OG&E completes 227.5MW wind farm in Oklahoma

OG&E Completes Crossroads Wind Farm Project. The wind energy project uses 95 Siemens wind turbines. OG&E announced has completed the Crossroads wind power plant in northwestern Oklahoma.

The $451 million wind power project uses 95 Siemens wind turbines rated at 2.3 MW each, plus three, 3 MW direct-drive wind turbines.

The Crossroads wind farm connects with OG&E’s Windspeed transmission line, which was energized in 2010 and delivers wind energy across OG&E’s 30,000-square-mile electric service area.
