REC to supply GP JOULE 60MW for large photovoltaic solar energy plants in France and Germany

REC modules were selected for a 60MW module supplier agreement with the German project developer GP JOULE for solar power plant installations in France and Germany.

REC will supply 60MW for free field solar power plants managed by the project developer GP JOULE. REC Peak Energy Series Modules will be installed on a 20MW free field installation in Germany and on one 40MW installation near Bordeaux, France. The first delivery will take place already in December and the rest over the next six months. Luc Grare, Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing Cells & Modules, REC stated "REC is very pleased to work with such an experienced partner and to see that large-scale projects are being realized in key European solar markets despite many challenges."

GP JOULE, based in Northern Germany has extensive experience developing, financing and operating large ground mount installations. "REC was selected as our module supplier because of the high quality of their modules and the reliability of the supplier combined with a strong value proposition which will help us to secure a solid return on the projects we are developing", said Ove Petersen, CEO, GP JOULE.
