Wind power in Brazil: Integrating a full scale wind energy supply chain

LM Wind Power, through Eolice, will make blades for wind turbines manufactured in Pernambuco. The company will install in Suape Industrial Complex, for the manufacture of wind turbine blades in order to generate 1,500 direct jobs with an investment of 100 million Reais.

With the installation of new wind turbines plant, Suape will provide all necessary equipment for wind farm generation, covering the entire value chain of the wind energy industry. Impsa, an Argentine manufacturer of wind turbines, already installed, and RM Wind, a manufacturer of towers. Iraeta, a company that produces flanges, is under construction.
