Fuhrlander has announced plans to manufacture wind turbines for the Ukrainian wind energy market at the Kramatorsky Heavy Machine Factory, in the east of the country.
According to Fuhrlander Ukrainian-German there are plans to produce 2-3 wind turbines by the end of the current year. The projected volume for 2012 is about 40 wind turbines.
Fuhrlander machines are being used on the first project using MW-class wind turbines in Ukraine, the 25 MW Novoazovskiy wind farm in the Donetsk region near the Azov Sea.
