Koreans keen to invest in wind energy in Pakistan

Koreans keen to invest in wind power in Sindh. A Korean firm has expressed its interest to invest dollars 100 million in wind turbines projects in the province.

A delegation of Koreans led by CEO of Hienergy Korea Canmore Co. Ltd., Kim Jin Hou met the provincial minister for Commerce and Industries Rauf Siddiqui on Monday and discussed the prospects of the wind farm projects.

The Koreans said they want to establish 50 MW each of the two wind power projects at SITE industrial zone in Nooriabad area on Superhighway after the NoC of the government of Sindh.

The Provincial Minister welcomed the project and said that it would be helpful to meet the challenge of energy needs of the industrial zone and a new experiment for the provincial government. He assured the delegates that the provincial government would provide its maximum cooperation in this regard.
