This wind power project will take Malpani Group’s total wind farm capacity to more than 125 MW, enough energy to power more than 72,000 Indian households, the release said.
"This is an important step forward in our efforts to create a sustainable energy portfolio for our Group, and builds on our earlier successful projects with the Suzlon Group. Suzlon has proven itself an ideal partner to us, combining their "concept-to-commissioning" solutions and a highly reliable technology platform. This also helps us to meet our clean energy goals set as a part of our corporate social responsibility," Mr Rajesh Malpani of Malpani Group, said.
Mr Tulsi R. Tanti, founder and Chairman and Managing Director, Suzlon Group said: "We have a long-standing relationship with the Malpani Group, their continued business with us not only underscores their faith in our capabilities, but also their dedication to clean energy solutions. We look forward to delivering yet another successful project for the Group".
