WinWinD and the French-based InnoVent have signed a contract for six 3 MW wind turbines

WinWinDthe French-based InnoVent have signed a contract for six 3 MW wind turbines for a wind farm.  and WinWinD will deliver the WWD-3 wind turbines to wind power plants located in the Northern France in the municipalities of Fiefs and Sains-lès-Pernes by the end of 2011. The hub height of the wind turbines is 88 m and the rotor diameter is 103 m. financing for the project is provided by Triodos Bank Belgium and Crédit Coopératif (France) who are supported by Export Credit Guarantees from Finnvera.

In addition to this, WinWinD and InnoVent have agreed on the delivery of two 1 MW wind turbines. These wind turbines are of the WWD-1 type, and they will be installed in the Northern France in the town of Boutavent in fall 2011. The hub height of these wind turbines will be 66 meters and rotor diameter 64 meters.

“These two wind energy contracts are important and logical steps for WinWinD to strengthen our presence in France. Our current installed base in France is more than twenty one megawatt wind turbines. We have installed our first WWD 3 wind turbines already in 2004, and now, we extend our business in France by introducing the 3 MW wind turbines also to this wind farm market”, says Peter Holmgaard, Chief Sales Officer for WinWinD.
