SAE World Congress Ride and Drive Will Feature 14 Vehicle Models

The Ride and Drive, a popular attraction at the SAE World Congress, will return in 2011, allowing attendees an opportunity to test drive 14 different models including the latest electric vehicles by GM and Nissan when the annual event opens April 12 in Detroit.

There will be a total of 25 vehicles available at Cobo Center’s Macomb Hall. Participants can take a vehicle on a 10-minute drive April 12-14, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Ride and Drive is open to the media and all registered attendees.

OEMs and suppliers participating in this year’s Ride and Drive include the host of the 2011 SAE World Congress, General Motors, which will provide six different models.
