Wisconsin Wind Power Project Seeks Purchase Power Agreement

Ridge Wind has spent the last three years working on feasibility, land acquisition and mechanical development of the wind farm. The wind turbones project is now to the point of seeking a power purchase agreement or PPA with a community or electric supplier.

Many thousands of hours of careful planning and assessment have been spent to bring the plan to the point of action on the part of the owners. Land agreements and a preliminary wind analysis have been made and all the figures point to a feasible project. Ridge Wind’s Guy Chapman stated “In order to take this project to its next level the company must secure a purchase power agreement from a city, state, or power company to secure the general funding needed to begin the formal studies and move forward with the permitting”.

Among the companies that have supported Ridge Wind is Toboa Energy Resources LLC (www.toboaenergy.com). Toboa has worked to establish relationships with contractors and suppliers for the project. A cooperative and supportive atmosphere exists between Ridge Wind Energy and the local land owners where the park is to be located. Their view is that renewable energy is not only a want but a need in Wisconsin and especially for the future of America.

This wind turbines project is privately owned and welcomes only serious investors that have a requirement to purchase electric energy.
