XZERES Wind Introduces Customer Financing Program for Its Small Wind Turbines

XZERES Wind Corporation (OTCBB: XWND) announced the introduction and availability of its new customer finance program. Through various lending partners, XZERES can offer up to 100 percent financing of the XZERES Wind Turbine System cost, including complete turnkey installation.

Specific programs are available for all types of customers, including Agricultural/Farming, Municipalities, Residential, and Commercial. According to Frank Greco, XZERES’ CEO, ‘Eliminating the up-front out of pocket costs is a powerful incentive for customers interested in the long-term benefits of installing a distributed, wind energy system.’

Customers can now more easily lock in lower energy costs today with a system capable of producing power for 15-20 years or more. Greco further stated, ‘Providing a customer finance option greatly expands the potential market for XZERES as it makes the initial purchase decision that much easier for a larger number of users. We experience a substantial portion of prospective customers that inquire about financing options.’

According to Steve Shum, XZERES’ CFO, ‘We are pleased to introduce a variety of financing programs for all types of customers. The benefits of financing a wind power system, combined with Federal and State incentives, provides a significant improvement in the cash flow profile and overall financial return to the user.’

XZERES Wind Corp designs, develops, manufactures and markets distributed generation, wind power systems for the small wind (2.5kW-100kW) market.

Our grid connected and off grid wind turbine systems, which consist of our 2.5kW and 10 kW devices and related equipment, are utilized for electrical power generation for applications and markets such as residential, micro-grid based rural electrification, agricultural, small business, rural electric utility systems, as well as other private, corporate infrastructure and government applications. Our wind power systems are focused on distributed energy, where a specific machine’s energy output is largely or entirely used on-site where the equipment is installed, as well as grid connected applications.

While many of our customers take advantage of their local net-metering rules within the United States and Feed In Tariffs that are often available in Europe and Internationally (to sell power back to the grid), our wind power systems are not dependent on transmission needs to carry the energy produced to another location.
