The 37-story 325 home apartment building is Four-Star Certified Built Green and features many sustainable amenities including building-wide recycling, Energy Star appliances and drought resistant landscaping. The ChargePoint stations are available for free charging to residents of the complex.
Coulomb’s Pacific Northwest regional distributor Charge Northwest was responsible for selling and installing the charging stations. The Built Green Certificate Award Ceremony for the Aspira apartment tower takes place on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at 10:30 on the 11th floor of the building.
"The Emerald City is a little greener with the introduction of its first ChargePoint networked charging stations," said Richard Lowenthal, CEO of Coulomb Technologies. "Apartment owners and dwellers across the country will look to Aspira as a model for EV drivers. To be able to charge your vehicle when you are at home or sleeping is a significant benefit and will attract eco-conscious drivers."
The ChargePoint network of electric vehicle charging stations is accessible to all plug-in drivers by making a toll free call to the 24/7 number on each charging station, or signing up for a ChargePoint Network monthly access plan and obtaining a ChargePass™ smart card. ChargePoint Network unique features include:
