GLWN Targets Expanding Wind Power Markets

GLWN announced today that Ohio will host GLWN’s first Advanced Wind Workshop designed to help wind farm developers, turbine designers, component manufacturers, and engineering, construction, operations, maintenance and logistics firms build connections to support and expand the region’s wind industry. The program will be held Wednesday, June 16th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the National Composite Center in Kettering, Ohio and will feature industry experts from firms including Minster Wind and Twenty First Century Energy, LLC in small group panel presentations to permit high value discussion and networking time.

According to Ed Weston, Director of GLWN, “We designed this new Advanced WIND Workshop to encourage collaboration. GLWN helps build connections to grow the domestic supply chain and jobs in wind industry. This workshop will help U.S. manufacturers, wind turbine designers, wind farm developers, construction, operations, engineering, logistics, and maintenance firms by speeding up the process between the development phase, and the manufacturing, construction, and installation phases, as well as support long-term wind turbine operations and maintenance which is important to the sustaining the U.S. wind industry.
