WindTamer Announces First Order for Combination Wind Turbine/Power Storage System

WindTamer Corporation ("WindTamer" or the "Company") (OTCBB: WNDT), a developer and manufacturer of a patented new wind turbines technology, announced today that it has received an order valued at $132,000 from Advanced Glass Industries for a combination wind turbine/power storage system.

The proprietary system consists of two WindTamer 96GT-3500 wind turbines and a custom-engineered battery storage bank that will store wind power generated by the wind turbines.

Advanced Glass Industries, which operates a 35,000 square-foot facility in Rochester, New York, is one of the world’s largest suppliers of precision machined and molded optical glass blanks.

Mark Matthews, WindTamer’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, is the designer of the Company’s new proprietary energy storage system. "We are pleased to announce the first sale of this combination system," said Mr. Matthews. "This product is generating considerable interest among commercial customers as a way to better manage their energy usage."
