Shear Wind Announces Agreements for Wind Turbines of Enercon Nova Scotia (Canada)

Shear Wind Inc. ("Shear Wind") (TSX VENTURE:SWX), announced that it has entered into an engineering, procurement and construction agreement ("EPC Agreement") with ENERCON Canada Inc. ("ENERCON") pursuant to which ENERCON will supply, install, erect and commission ENERCON E-82 2,300 kW wind energy turbines for Shear Wind’s 60 megawatt Glen Dhu wind farm in Nova Scotia (the "Glen Dhu Project") in Antigonish and Pictou counties.

Shear Wind and ENERCON concurrently entered into an agreement known as the "EPK Agreement" pursuant to which ENERCON will service and maintain the purchased wind turbines.
