RES Announces Appointment of Susan Reilly as CEO of RES Americas

RES Group today announced the appointment of Susan Reilly as CEO of the RES Americas business. The appointment will take effect in autumn 2010.

Susan has been Deputy CEO of RES Group and a member of the RES Holdings Board (positions she will retain alongside her new position) since January 2010.

Susan, who has extensive experience of working in the renewable energy industry in the US, will focus on leading the continuing growth and development of RES’s highly successful regional business and will also continue to contribute to the strategic management of the RES Group at an important time for the renewables sector.

Susan Reilly

Susan Reilly holds a BA in Economics and Accountancy and is a Chartered Accountant. Following an early career in Principal Investment, initially within corporate and banking environments, she worked in the private equity sector, leading on venture capital investments in both the US and UK.

From 1995, Susan spent 13 years with Scottish Power/Iberdrola, holding a number of senior positions including Strategy Director, and had responsibility for the development of the Renewable Energy business in Scottish Power. Susan also spent some time as Executive VP of a US regulated energy business, PacificCorp Holdings and was Executive VP for Iberdrola Renewables USA.
