Li-ion Motors delivered its first all-electric mini cooper ?The Flash? to Abu Dhabi

Li-ion Motors Corp. (OTCBB:LMCO), 21st Century Design & Engineering of emission-free automotive propulsion systems using the latest lithium battery technology, is pleased to announce it has delivered its first all-electric car mini cooper “The Flash” to Abu Dhabi on February 9, 2010.

Mike Cerven, Sales Manager, stated the Flash was well received by the owner and we expect this will be the starting point of future sales in this region. Li-ion Motors had previously sent its first Flash to a customer in the Netherlands demonstrating the demand exists for these types of vehicles. The Netherland vehicle has been featured in a TV documentary, on December 7, 2009.

Cory Lynch, member at Li-ion Motors says; “The Company has reached a new milestone by selling an all-electric vehicle to one of the oil rich countries.”

The first ever all-electric mini cooper in the middle east has an average range of 110 miles per charge and a high speed of 70 miles per hour. We at Li-ion Motors are very proud of reaching this unique milestone in the development of our vehicles and company.

Additional features for the Abu Dhabi Flash also include solar panels to keep the batteries cool in the extreme hot desert temperatures.
