EDF Energies Nouvelles Commissions a 106 MW Hoosier Wind Project in U.S.

Developed and built by enXco, the US subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, the Hoosier wind farm is 100%-owned by the Group. A power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed with US utility Indianapolis Power & Light, with the latter agreeing to buy the wind farm’s entire output over a 20-year period.

This new achievement underpins EDF Energies Nouvelles’ activities in the United States and lifts the Group’s wind energy capacity installed in the country to 965.4 MW gross (695.5 MW net).

enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles Company (PARIS: EEN), announces Commercial Operation of the 106 megawatt Hoosier Wind Project which will deliver carbon-free electricity into the Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL) generation portfolio. This project brings enXco’s gross installed wind power capacity to 965.4 MW.
