Winwind Sweden AB has been established with offices in Stockholm and Karlstad.

"The purpose of the new company is to clarify WinWinD’s operations for our Swedish customers by simplifying the sales operations and to create an organisation that can take better responsibility for our customers’ needs throughout the whole life cycle of the wind turbines" says Jari Varjotie, director responsible for WinWinD’s operations in Europe.

Initially WinWinD employs two key persons, Anders Sjögren as managing director and Andreas Niska as sales manager. Both of them have earlier worked at Dynawind AB and have many years of experience of WinWinD’s products in the Swedish wind energy market.

The former cooperation with Dynawind AB will continue and be developed especially through improved service offerings.

WinWinD is the leading supplier of 1 MW and 3 MW wind turbines in the Swedish market and has sold 87 MW to Swedish customers, among others the Vänern Wind Farm with the best producing wind turbines in Sweden.

The biggest wind turbine in Finland handed over to customer

WinWinD has delivered a three megawatt wind turbine to Energy company St1 in Pori Tahkoluoto, Finland. The handover was celebrated in good spirit together with the host and representatives of St1, project participants and subcontractors.

“The Pori Tahkoluoto wind turbine indicates our strong investment to renewable energy. Our excellent cooperation with WinWinD before starting and during the project guaranteed that the turbine was completed ahead of time and has produced green energy to the state electrical network already since September. We are very satisfied.” tells Jari Suominen, Energy Director.

The WWD-3 turbine is the highest wind turbine built in Finland. Both the hub height and the rotor diameter are 100 metres. Rated power of the wind turbine is 3 MW, and estimated production is approximately 8.000 MWh per year.

Winwind Ltd. manufactures and supplies one and three megawatt wind turbines based on low speed technology. The company was established in 2000 and currently employs nearly 800 per-sons worldwide.

Outside Finland WinWinD turbines are running in Sweden, Estonia, France, Por-tugal, Czech Republic and India.
