Alstom will supply Petkim wind farm with ECO 110 wind turbines

Alstom signed a contract worth more than € 55 million with Petkim for the supply of 17 ECO 110 wind turbines of 3MW each (total of 51MW) for the Petkim Wind Farm that will be installed in the Izmir Aliaga peninsula of Turkey. The scope of the contract includes construction, supply and engineering works of the power plant to be built as turnkey delivery project.

The 27MW (9 x 3MW) first phase of Petkim wind farm will be commissioned in 2015, and the 24MW (8 x 3MW) second phase will be commissioned in 2016. În addition, Alstom will also provide operation and maintenance for the power plant for 15 years. When the power plant will be completed, it will be possible to generate approximately 200GWh energy. Alstom previously supplied the steam turbine for Petkim Aliaga Cogeneration Power Plant.
