WTEC: Total Solar and Wind Energy Solutions

WTEC and its affiliates is an engineering, manufacturing, procurement and construction company dedicated to the alternative energy market. It designs and produces products to move energy from the generation point to utility interconnect for both wind and solar energy. The Company’s approach is to offer a comprehensive package of electrical components. Its goal is to provide a one stop approach to its customers, thereby minimizing errors and maximizing efficiency.

The group consists of WTEC itself; AED; and RERC. RERC provides engineering services; WTEC provides OEM products; AED is the construction arm for the installation of complete balance of system for Wind and Solar farms.

RERC

RERC designs solar and wind farm electrical systems comprised of the collection system and substation. It also designs entire solar farms from the racking system to the substation. This group is uniquely positioned to leverage the knowledge of its sister companies to produce cost effective designs, by utilizing in house products such as combiner boxes, harnesses etc.

RERC also assists its sister companies to design projects with better constructability from a practical standpoint.

WTEC OEM

WTEC provides electrical components to the wind and solar farm markets. In these markets, the Company sells its manufactured products to move energy from the generation point (wind turbine / solar array) to utility interconnect, e.g. electrical cables (DLO, 35 kV etc.), transformers, inverters, e-houses etc.

The Company is also a provider of Electrical Cables and components exclusively to the Wind and Solar Market. It is one of the largest value added providers to Wind Turbine manufacturers. WTEC value added services include UL harnesses, UL junction boxes, prepackaged E-houses with Inverters; and DC cable harnesses pre-made for easy termination in the field.

AED

AED is the Company’s construction unit. AED has the crews and equipment available to service any number and any size projects in North America. In addition to its fleet of standard construction vehicles, AED owns and operates the most modern and sophisticated line of trenchers for burying underground collection systems e.g. Rivard, Tesmec rock trenchers and specialized mobile Turchi pile drivers.

AED services include Underground cable installation; Installation of switchgears, transformers and inverters; Splicing and termination of MV and LV cables; Installation and termination of fiber optic communication systems; Solar rack installation, fixed and tracking; Driving of solar mounting posts; Installation of foundation ground grids and conduits, etc.
