Endurance Wind Power Appoints Industry Veteran, Andy Kruse

Endurance Wind Power (EWP), manufacturer of advanced small wind turbines 50kW in size, designed specifically for distributed wind power applications, today announced it has appointed wind industry veteran, Andy Kruse as VP, Business Development. Kruse brings more than 25 years of small wind experience to his new role. Kruse is charged with directing the growth of the company’s direct/indirect sales activities, as well as the development of integration and channel partners and dealers.

Prior to joining EWP, Kruse was co-founder and executive vice president of business development at Southwest Wind power, the global leader of residential wind generators. He currently sits on the Department of Commerce’s Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee, which advises the U.S. Secretary of Commerce on the renewable energy efforts and initiatives, and is also chair of the Small Wind Committee within the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA).

"Andy will be instrumental in expanding our reach into a variety of new markets, as well as creating strong relationships with key partners and dealers to help propel Endurance to the next level," said Glenn Johnson, chief executive officer, Endurance Wind Power.

"It was a very difficult decision to move to a new company but Endurance Wind Power has offered me the opportunity to pursue larger scale wind projects that address new markets such as island nations which has been a passion of mine for years. Endurance has the right technology and excellent team to make a significant impact globally," said Kruse.

Kruse’s accolades include: ‘National Exporter of the Year’ by the Small Business Association and Small Wind Advocate of the Year by AWEA.
