Gamesa sells two wind power plants in France to Allianz

As a wind farm developer, Gamesa has brought 114 MW of capacity online in France and has a project portfolio of 800 MW at varying stages of development

Gamesa, a global technology leader in the wind energy industry, has sold two wind farms in France with combined installed capacity of 16 MW to Allianz Renewable Energy Partners IV Limited.

The two wind farms -Aussac (8 MW) located in Region Poitou-Charentes and Belrain (8 MW), located in Region Lorraine- are each equipped with four Gamesa G90 wind turbines, which feature unit capacity of 2.0 MW.

The two sites, developed and built by Gamesa’s wind farm development and sales division, are currently in operation.
