Wind energy Greece – New Wind Farm Near Hydra Island

The Terna company, branch office of GEK, one of the main Greek groups in the construction sector, will build a wind farm in the second quarter of 2011.

The wind farm will be build on a small uninhabited island near the island of Hydra. The wind power plant will include 23 wind turbines, the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) office in Athens writes, with a wind energy capacity of 69 megawatt. The entire wind power project will cost around 150 million euros.
